Poirier bows out in match play at U.S. Amateur Public Links

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Garren Poirier of Killington, Vt., survived the cut at the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championships for the second straight year before bowing out in extra holes in the first round of match play Wednesday.
